Who Are We

Saint Stephen Youth is a medium sized group of approximately 100 - 6th through 12th grade youth from different schools across the city of Amarillo and surrounding area.  Don’t be a number in a crowd  - we want you to find a great group of friends right here!

 We are a friendly, open, and caring group with a desire to learn more about Jesus Christ and to strengthen our faith in Him.

 We do this in 4 key areas of ministry:  Worship, Discipleship, Outreach, and Service

 All of our youth ministry programs, retreats, and special events are designed around 1 or more of these 4 guiding purposes...

We believe in Jesus and we believe in youth!

 
Come and Join In!  The only way to experience the community and encouragement of our Student Ministry program is to jump in and get involved as much as you can.  That's how you meet and make new friends and experience Christ together with us!

Questions and Answers

Q. What do I have to do to join?

    A.  All you have to do is show up… and jump right in!

Q. What if I don’t know anyone?

    A.   Each event that you come to will help you get to know a few people…  Before long you’ll know a lot of people and you will feel right at home…   

Q. Can I bring a friend?

   A.  Absolutely  -  anytime you want!

Q. Is it expensive?

   A.  Our weekly programs on Wednesday Nights and Sunday Nights are free unless we are having a special event that night which may cost a few dollars…  Our retreats and trips are priced as inexpensively as possible and we offer fundraisers and scholarships to help every youth participate in anything that we do…

Q. Who are the leaders?

    A. Besides our church staff youth leaders, we have a great team of adult volunteers that love youth and love God.  They help lead at all of our youth ministry events and programs...
